Buds Play and Learn field trips are designed to combine active play, creative exploration, sensory engagement, and guided STEAM workshops.
Overview
A hands-on, movement-rich, creative, and sensory-friendly field trip experience for schools, daycares, camps, homeschool groups, and community organizations.
Activity Stations
Children may rotate through the following stations: Movement/Sports, STEAM learning games, Sensory, Arts/Crafts, Construction/Building, Musical instrument exploration, Interactive gaming and exertainment, and Science exploration.
Stations can be adjusted based on age, group size, timing, and school learning goals.
Guided STEAM Workshops
Each field trip can include one or more guided STEAM workshop. Workshops can be selected based on group size, age, time available, staffing, and the school or organization’s learning goals.
For smaller group workshops, children can be divided into groups of 10 and rotated through activities.
Workshop options: Science experiments, 3D printing, Crafts/painting, Pottery
Custom Format
The 2-hour format is best for younger children or daycares. It provides a balanced option of play area access, activity stations, ONE guided STEAM workshop, and an optional snack break.
The 3-hour format is best for larger groups or camps that want a more complete play and STEAM experience. It allows time for multiple activity stations, snacks, and TWO guided workshop blocks.
